Description
The
414-acre Hand Hollow Conservation Area, owned and managed by the
Columbia Land Conservancy, is characterized by woodlands,
meadows, a lake, two ponds, streams, and wetlands.
Three
trails totaling approximately two and a half miles traverse
the property, each of which provides visitors
with unique recreational experiences. In addition, there
is access from Gale Hill Road to the east
shore of the lake, which is an ideal location for fishing. Canoes,
kayaks, and other boats maybe hand-carried to the lake.
No gasoline motors allowed.
