Working Farmland and Rural Landscapes      For the past two years, Kinderhook Farm has hosted the Shad Bake. The core of the farm is protected by an 817-acre Conservation Easement held by the Columbia Land Conservancy.  It is a prime example of how CLC is working to protect Columbia County ’s rural landscapes and working farmland.   As a producer of grass-fed beef, Kinderhook Farm represents a growing part of the local agricultural economy.
