The Columbia Land Conservancy works with individuals, community groups and municipalities to help them realize their conservation goals.  We work with a variety of partner organizations, building upon our collective strengths to help Columbia County maintain its rural character and natural beauty as well as its economic vitality.

These efforts include: raising funds for open space initiatives and farmland protection projects; working with local government officials to help review proposed developments; and providing examples of planning and zoning language as it relates to open space, recreational and trail design, and public conservation area management.
